Exam timetable: receiving timetable information All correspondence sent from Examinations regarding your timetable will be sent from Examinations@ed.ac.uk. Please check that this address is not marked as junk or spam. Emails will only be sent to your university email address (e.g. s123456@sms.ed.ac.uk), so check this address regularly. More information about exam procedures and regulations. Your exam timetable will appear in your Office 365 calendar. You must check this calendar as this is the only way you will be notified. The calendar will show all exam details. An example is shown here: Image *times on your calendar will be rounded up to the nearest 5 minutes in the exam (for example 1 hour 53 minutes in your timetable will be rounded up to 1 hour 55 minutes). Exam timetable: what you should do If your exam does not appear in your Office 365 calendar by 10 days before your first exam, you should contact examinations@ed.ac.uk immediately. Morning exams will usually start at 9.15am. Afternoon exams will usually start at 2.30pm Check your timetable regularly as your original dates and times may change. If exams are missing or you are not intending on sitting an exam, email examinations@ed.ac.uk as soon as you receive your timetable. IMPORTANT: Your exams will be held in a different venue from the main exam. If you go to the main exam venue you will not be given your exam adjustments. On the day of the exam Arrive in good time, you will not receive additional time if you are late. If you think you have not been given the correct adjustments speak to the invigilator immediately.
