Awareness training for staff

The Service runs regular awareness training sessions over the year.

These sessions are designed to provide an introduction to, and improve staff knowledge of the disability, health or neurodiverse condition, or specific learning difference. They will explore how it can present in students while studying and discusses strategies staff can use to support these students.  We have sessions on a variety of topics:

  • AD(H)D
  • Autism
  • Deaf and Hearing Loss
  • Dyslexia
  • Dyspraxia
  • Student Mental Health
  • Visual Impairment
